Speak-for-Parts Group
An IFS-based blend of support and process-based work to help you feel heard and move forward in community.
Bringing the human-ness to being a therapist.
For therapists who are interested in parts work and want the felt sense of what it’s like to be with their own parts.
Hi! I’m Crystal and I’ve been where you are.
I know what it is like to hold so much space for our clients, friends, and family only to not have that same level of space holding be reciprocated.
In 2021 (during an IFS Level 2 training), I realized I had gotten to a point of liking being a client more than being a therapist. I went down a shame spiral for a little while, then got in touch with my young parts and learned that one of the reasons I became a therapist was for the young, vulnerable parts of me to feel less alone. I thought to myself, “I am 11 years into my career, and now feel more alone than ever.”
I know that many of us get to a point of feeling this way, and I am determined to change that by creating more opportunities for safe connection with other therapists.
From that point forward, I have been dedicated to creating more opportunities for reciprocity in relationships, rather than the one sided space holding we do for others day in and day out.
I tend to be a person who creates group spaces that I need. That is where this Speak for Parts group came from. From my own desire to feel connected to others.
I realized that the most connected and seen I had felt as a therapist was during times in different IFS groups where we all had full permission to take up space. There was enough safety in the group where I could truly speak for my parts in a way that was not judged, and others shared in the same level of safe vulnerability. Over time I began to feel less alone and more connected to myself and others. I became a better therapist to my clients, showed up more fully in my relationships, and stopped abandoning myself.
I got to a point where I couldn’t keep assisting IFS trainings or paying for more and more IFS trainings in order to feel that level of deep connection with others. So I decided to experiment with creating my own group where we all speak for our parts and take up space. I hope you will join me!
To do IFS with your clients, you really need to feel it. This is a place for you to safely feel and experience it with other therapists.
How It Works:
Speak for Parts Process Group
Twice a month, we meet for 90 minutes. We’ll have a brief check-in and then everyone will get a chance to share and participate.
A Chance to Practice and Experience IFS
Crystal will lead a 15 minute meditation to help you connect to and be with your parts. This is an opportunity to get to know your parts, allow them to take up space, and speak for them within the safety of the group. We let our parts lead the way, and Crystal and the group members co-create a safe container for us all to be seen.
The Support of a Close-Knit Community
Each group has a maximum of six participants, so there will be plenty of time to share and get to know your peers.
IFS Accessibility
Experience IFS from an IFSI Approved Clinical Consultant in a group format. No prior IFS training necessary, just an interest in getting to know your parts!

This is like a blend between a support group and therapeutic process group. Crystal is both facilitating and participating in the group and sometimes takes up space with her own parts. Because of this unique way of running this group, you are not a therapy client and will not sign intake paperwork.
-
Because this is not a therapy group, therapists who live outside of Colorado are welcome to join us. This program is provided completely virtually so you can attend from anywhere in the world.
-
After our first group, I will send you an invoice via Square where you can save your card on file. I will charge your card behind the scenes after every group. Each group session costs $90.
-
The cost of this program is determined based on the time it takes to facilitate two 90 min groups per month, in addition to the time and experience creating IFS-informed content. One intention I have in offering this group experience is to make it more financially accessible to therapists than many other IFS offerings available through the IFS institute or other programs.
-
So many therapists struggle to find time for themselves, and a 90 min group every other week can feel like a lot. I get it. This program is for therapists who are ready to invest time and money into caring for themselves so they can show up more fully in the world.
